1 January 1866 - Edward married Mary Gibb, after banns according to the forms of the Free Church of Scotland, in Philipstoun Bridge, Abercorn, witnessed by A Henderson and J Cruickshank. He lived in Springburn, Glasgow at this time, his profession was Blacksmith.
